New Owners for Jarden Zinc

Both companies specialise in consumer products, and the combined entity – to be renamed Newell Brands – will have sales of $16 billion.

Jarden Zinc Products is part of Jarden’s Process Solutions business unit. Based in Tennessee, US and founded in 1970, it is one of the world’s largest producers of zinc strip, and supplies coin blanks to more than 20 countries. These include the US Mint, for which it has been the exclusive supplier for one cent coins since 1982.
