New 1,000 Afghani

13.06.2014

Da Afghanistan Bank (the country's Central Bank) introduced a new 1,000 Afghani note printed as early as in 2012. It's akin to the previous issue note (2004), except for a new date and signatures, appearance of a hologram stripe 12 mm wide and a "windowed" security thread. Besides, the new note features the multitone watermark combined with an ornamental electrotype.
