Our industry needs to come together

15.09.2020

As the world continues to adapt to the pandemic, it is more important than ever for our global community to stay connected. Like all businesses, Currency Research (CR) has been challenged but we remain passionate about what we do, who we are, and about you - the Currency industry.

We too must adapt and have taken the recent decision to hold the remaining 2020 conferences virtually and in doing so, we are excited to provide a space for the industry to continue to learn, share and connect for the year ahead.

We are proud of the trust that you, the industry, have given CR over many years, your recognition of our independence, impartiality, and our relentless focus on quality.  Our long and successful history organizing conferences for the Currency industry is reflective of our passion for the industry and passion for bringing the key stakeholders together to discuss, debate, and share information that will benefit the industry and each of us as professionals.  As we all navigate these difficult times, we look forward to your continuing support to ensure this legacy continues.

Our industry needs to come together. We need to share perspectives on what has happened in the world; to understand where we are going and listen to new ideas for adapting; to discuss new ideas and ways of going forward; focus on opportunities that await us and solutions that meet the challenges. We bring people together from all over the world at locations all across the globe. There is power in the face-to face gatherings we organize.

However, for now… we need to stay home and protect ourselves, our companies, our industry, and the world as we navigate the challenges of this virus on a global scale. This IS the right thing to do.

But that does not mean that we can still not join together and meet!!  Thanks to technology, education, networking, and connection can still happen. It must happen. And CR will make it happen in a most unique way by creating virtual communities for each conference. Our passion and desire to bring the stakeholders together has prompted us to make this digital investment.  In these virtual communities, we will not only hold our 3-day conferences but will continue the conversation through the next year with quarterly programming and on-going activity until the time we can finally come together face-to-face in 2021.  This will be unlike anything you have experienced.
